Hey you all! Welcome to day 312 of quarantine and fighting off COVID-19! I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and practicing social distance. Since March, I have been in the house, doing things to keep me distracted to what has been going around. Before this corona thing, I was a total homebody, but this just isi not the same! I have learned all the easy tik-tok dances, tried new recipes off Pinterest, finished my junior year in college on Zoom, and started a keto meal plan. Nevertheless, I still am bored. I miss my friends, my job, and being around my friends and acquaintances. I believe that I am having a hard time adjusting and transitioning into this new "normal" we are all experiencing. But believe it or not COVID-19 has some blessings tied with it. Now of course, there has to be a balance in life, so the fact that there is not a cure for the virus is depressing, but to look on the bright side, families are being healed, Earth isn't much polluted, and bonds are being built with Christ! Instead of looking at what's depressing, look at what's a blessing. God's intentions were to definitely gain something from this whole experience.

Some things I have learned outside of physical things during quarantine is :

  1. the importance of appreciation

  2. the importance of "hard coversations"

  3. all God wants is the same communication skills you give your friends/family + more!

  4. the gift of discernment

  5. fasting things to learn self-disclipline is key

  6. self reflect is needed as many times in a day as you need

  7. if we don't change, we don't grow (simple)

  8. having a stagnant mindset gets you nowhere

What did you learn or is learning during quarantine??? I'd love to know!!!!!!!
