COVID-19 has created a lot of problems for many people. The past weeks have been full of disappointment, frustration, and for many, great heartache. However, when states started issuing stay-at-home orders, I instantly thought of others and how people with not enough resources and support would be affected by this. I’m talking about the men and women who are victims of domestic violence, children who are being abused or neglected, and those who already struggled with depression or mental illness and are now choosing suicide as a means of escape.  As well as the families who are struggling during this time because they aren’t used to being under one roof 24/7. And by struggling, I mean they’re getting on each other's nerves.

If you’re like me, and these people have been on your mind from Day One, would you please join me now in praying for them? For their safety, for their healing, for their restoration, and for the Lord to draw them to Himself.

Give Us Your Strength and Protection

Lord God, heavenly Father,

you know that we are set in the midst of so many and great dangers, that by reason of the frailty of our nature we cannot always stand upright:

Grant us such strength and protection, to support us in all danger, and carry us through all temptations; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Prayer for Guidance and Protection

O Lord, our redemption. Be our protection. Direct our minds by your gracious presence.

Watch over our paths and guide us with your love through the hidden snares of life.

Fix our hearts on you as we go forward, and following in faith, arrive at your goal; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Protection from Evil

Heavenly Father, guide me and direct me as I seek to love strangers the way You love them. Help me take risks in this world which require Your protection from the evil one. I want to live “dangerously” for Your glory, Lord. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

As I read these prayers out loud, I know God will protect me from the evil comings that this virus has brought upon us. He said he would protect me, love me, care for me, at ALL times. So I trust Him. Now, that doesn't mean I leave my house without the right protection. ( PLEASE WEAR YOUR GLOVES AND MASKS) I ask God to please be with you. Draw yourself to Him.

I ask God to whoever is reading this, that He allows his Spirit to minister to your heart. I hope this helps you to see that He has not forgotten about you. Remember that you have the gift of FAITH! Use it.
